LAHM Trumpet Parade
Join us on April 18 at 12:30 PM for the Louis Armstrong House Museum Trumpet Parade, celebrating the spirit of Louis Armstrong with a joyful New Orleans–style parade and live performances.
This year’s parade will feature the New York Youth Symphony Jazz Small Ensemble.
About the Ensemble:
Led by Robert J. Levine Jazz Program Director Michael Thomas, the New York Youth Symphony Small Jazz Ensemble fosters creative collaboration and musical exploration among NYYS jazz musicians. Members perform concerts throughout New York City, participate in outreach activities, create original music, and work together as true artistic collaborators.

The celebration will also include a lively performance by the Louis Armstrong House Museum Trumpet Students (ages 8–16), bringing the joyful sound of brass to the streets in true Satchmo style.
